Our goal must not only be to continue working on important current challenges, but also to quickly build capacity and help the Minnesota Senior Federation see into the future, acknowledging the new challenges and opportunities on the horizon.
Iowa caucuses inspire us to be informed
We may not have access to all the reporting and live speeches, but we can inform ourselves by reading, listening to the news, watching for candidate appearances and checking out positions on candidate web sites and at their local offices.
Most precinct caucuses to take place February 5
The Republican Party of Minnesota, the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and the Independence Party of Minnesota will be holding their caucuses Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. This is earlier than usual. The Green Party of Minnesota is adhering to the original caucus date and holding their’s Tuesday, March 4.  (Editor's note:  The dates for caucuses for the Independence Party of Minnesota and the Green Party of Minnesota were incorrect as listed in Minnesota Senior News.)
