Private fee-for-service plans being dropped by some medical providers
Effective April 1, 2008, Park Nicollet Clinic and Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital will no longer accept Medicare Advantage Private Fee-for-Service plans. They join the HealthPartners metropolitan area clinics, who have declined to accept Medicare Private Fee-for-Service insurance all along. |

Federation is drop site for Gifts for Seniors
Gifts for Seniors collects donated gifts to distribute to the most isolated senior citizens who reside within the 12 Minnesota metropolitan counties. Donations are 100 percent tax deductible. |

Public, legislators invited to December forum on Medicare
On Saturday, Dec. 1, the 9 a.m.-noon event will offer seniors and others concerned about Medicare changes an occasion to listen, learn and ask the experts. A bus will leave the MnSF St. Paul office at 7:45 a.m. and from House of Prayer in Richfield at 8:00 a.m. Dec. 1 to transport members to the event. |
