Green letter was notice of automatic Part D enrollment
Are you a low-income senior? Did you receive a green letter in April saying you've been enrolled in a Medicare Part D plan? This is very important if you did not have a Medicare Part D plan or any other type of creditable drug coverage before April 1 and you meet one of three other requirements. |
If your drugs aren't included in Medicare's formulary - there are options
While new members will continue to have a one-month transition period when they first join, the extended transition period that was in effect to try to ease difficulties with the start-up of Part D ended March 31. If a drug you take is not covered by your Part D plan, or requires limits that don't work for your needs, you have a couple of options. |
