A new multi-media presentation on Medicare Equity issues called “Medicare in Crisis” is now available for community presentations throughout Minnesota, apart of the Medicare Justice Coalition’s Medicare Modernization Act educational campaign. The reasons for these inequities are discussed as well as actions that should be taken so that Medicare beneficiaries receive the same Medicare benefits regardless of where one lives in the county.  The presentation also highlights to 2006 Medicare prescription drug benefit and options beneficiaries have in responding to this new benefit.
