Metro hosts metro area events to help seniors with Part D decisions PDF Print E-mail

The enrollment countdown has begun! People who are Medicare-eligible need to make a decision on whether Part D is for them. Those who choose to sign up must do so by May 15. The following are offered to assist metro-area seniors in signing up for Medicare Part D. For help statewide, contact your regional Federation office or call the Federation's Health Plan Information Center, 651/783-5045 (or toll free 866/783-5045).  Minnesota Access To Benefits Coalition, led by the Senior Federation, will kick off Medicare Part D Information and Enrollment events during our Metro Convention.

In the days following the convention, Metro Region will hold three Medicare Part D Information and Enrollment Events, which are free and open to everyone. We encourage everyone with Medicare and their families to join us over coffee and treats to receive face-to-face help deciding on Part D, enrolling in a plan, attend a brief informational presentation presented by ABC or visit with Part D drug plan representatives.

If you would like to enroll during these events, call a volunteer at the Federation, 651/783-5045 for a "Personal Information Worksheet" to fill out in advance, or bring your insurance cards and prescription drug list with you.

Need a ride to one of the following events? Want a poster to hang in your church, pharmacy, etc.? Call Dawn or Leda at 651/783-5075.
