With only days left to meet the challenge, the Minnesota Senior Federation is beating the bushes to find anyone who may be unaware of the opportunity to double a financial gift to the organization in the next few days. A generous member of the Federation offered to match all gifts to this organization up to $20,000. The challenge ends Sept. 9.

"This kind of challenge is unprecedented in our history. The opportunity to earn $40,000 this summer is tantalizing - it can be done, but we're running out of time" says Bob Ansel, chair of the MnSF financial development committee.

According to financial records on this grant, donations at the time Senior News went to press total $4,880. The fact that the Federation can double that amount still leaves it far behind the goal of reaching $40,000. Again, from Bob Ansel: "We've seen very generous individuals giving because of this challenge and we're grateful for the response. We hope our friends and members who haven't yet responded will consider their overall giving to this organization. Take advantage of this one-time opportunity to expand your gift capability and capture an equally expansive match."
