For the latest on Medicare changes, attend an MnSF Fall Medicare forum PDF Print E-mail

Do you know about upcoming changes to Medicare? Join Federation staff and volunteers over coffee to learn your health care options at our Fall Medicare Forums going on throughout the metro area during October.

During our forums we’ll explain why everyone who has Medicare should take another look at their coverage and talk about how you can switch plans during the Nov. 15-Dec. 31 enrollment period.  “We expect health plans to heavily promote this enrollment period when they begin advertising their new products on Oct. 1,” explains Health Information manager, Karin Patrick.

The Federation’s Fall forums will offer unbiased information and a chance to ask health plan representatives questions face-to-face. The events are free and open to everyone - plan on attending and bring a friend.

“Every year I hear amazing feedback on our forum speakers and the information they present,” says Angie Ritter, Health Programs outreach and education manager. “Federation staff and members work hard to produce consumer-friendly education materials, including the 2007 Health Care Choices magazine. We’re very excited to be able to give every person who comes to a forum a free copy,” announces Ritter.
