Whether you are looking for a day trip or extended trip, one of the benefits of being a Minnesota Senior Federation member is the domestic travel opportunities available through Tourco Firstline Tours, Inc.

International travel opportunities are offered through Go Next (formerly Global Holidays). Tours this fall will go to Italy’s magnificent Lake Como and the Swiss Alps and to see the treasures of Italy, to include Tuscany and Fiuggi. For more information, contact Go Next at 952/918-8950 or 800/842-9023.

To plan an extended tour in the United States or a day trip, contact Tourco at 763/780-2985 or 800/868-7261 for a catalog. Federation members receive a 4 percent discount on any extended motorcoach tour program over $100 and a 2 percent discount on cruises and general public travel programs.

“Boots, Bandits and Beer” is a day tour being offered Sept. 21 for $54. An escorted motorcoach will take you to the Mason Shoe Outlet in Chippewa Falls, Wisc. where you can purchase leather shoes, handbags and other leather goods while enjoying refreshments. A hearty western meal will be found at the end of a horse-drawn wagon ride near Cadott. During the wagon ride, Judy Filles relates more than 200 years of family history as you travel along the creek. During the luncheon, Tim Danielson, “the singing cowboy,” will entertain. Leinenkugel’s Brewery will be the next stop with samples included. Final stop is at Olson’s Ice Cream Parlor for a cool treat.

No refunds given within seven business days of departure. Any refunds may incur non-refundable costs. Confirmation will be sent one week prior to the trip. For more information or a registration form, call the Metro Region office at 651/783-5018.
