The Minnesota Senior Federation will honor retiring Metro Region executive director, Peter Wyckoff, at a luncheon Jan. 30, 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Northland Inn Ballroom, 7025 Northland Dr., Brooklyn Park. All are welcome.

Master of ceremonies will be former St. Paul mayor George Latimer. Cost is $50 and reservations are required. Reservations can be made on line, by phone, fax, in person or by mail. Reserving by mail, fax or phone involves a $4 handling fee.

One highlight of the luncheon will be the announcement of the Peter T. Wyckoff Endowment Fund.

In  recognition of his leadership and devotion to the organization, the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Senior Federation has named this endowment fund. The Peter T. Wyckoff Endowment Fund campaign was launched in the fall of 2006. This fund will be a living legacy for the Federation that can provide an ongoing source of funding for the organization.

Building this permanent endowment provides the organization with future stability and a foundation from which to grow. Having an endowment fund provides the Federation a relatively constant source of annual income and covers future and unexpected needs, while providing security and long-range financial planning.
