Housing advocates to gather Dec. 7 in St. Paul to achieve Homes for All! PDF Print E-mail

Join 1,200 Minnesotans Dec. 7 at RiverCentre and take action on solutions to close the housing gap and achieve Homes for All!

One of the most exciting aspects of Homes for All! 2006 is that participants will not only learn about solutions to close the housing gap in Minnesota, but they can actually take action and be part of the solution.

Census numbers released in early October show that the number of Minnesotans who are severely cost burdened - households that spend more than half of their income on housing - has more than doubled since 2000. The sort of decisions a cost-burdened family has to make are beyond tough - food instead of housing, housing instead of food, either instead of healthcare.

All Minnesotans need to work together to fix this. Together Minnesota's business community, faith communities, government agencies, nonprofits, philanthropic community and elected officials can take action on solutions that will close the housing gap and achieve Homes for All!
