The Minnesota Senior Federation will host members and friends at a luncheon to honor Peter Wyckoff, retiring Metro Region executive director, for 34 years of service and to celebrate the Federation's future. The luncheon is Jan. 30, 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Northland Inn Ballroom, 7025 Northland Dr., Brooklyn Park. All are welcome.
The Honorable George Latimer, former mayor of St. Paul, will be master of ceremonies. Several honored guests, business and community leaders, and long-time associates of the Federation will help tell the story of MnSF and its contributions to the community. It will be an opportunity to thank Wyckoff for his dedicated leadership.
Reservations for this ticketed event can be made online, by phone, fax, in person, or by mail. Cost is $50 per ticket. Reserving by mail, fax or phone involves a $4 handling fee. An additional highlight of the luncheon will be the official launch of the Peter T. Wyckoff Endowment Fund. Contributions to the endowment have already begun. The goal for the initial launch is $200,000.
The Federation is inviting letters of tribute to Wyckoff that will be assembled and presented during the program part of the luncheon. Letters should be submitted by Jan. 15 to Linda Zelig at the Federation, .
