Corbin Sherwood Kidder

The Senior Federation lost a long-time ally and member. As the St. Paul Pioneer Press pointed out in a recent article, Corbin lived on bus routes 16 and 50. They was very important to him. He was a strong advocate of mass transit, serving as a Minnesota Senior Federation representative to the Metropolitan Council committee on transportation. Transportation was not his only area of interest. At the Senior Federation he served as a VISTA, believed to be the oldest serving VISTA in the nation at the time. He also served on the Minnesota Senior News editorial board. He seemed to be wherever he was needed and everyone who knew him will no doubt miss his hard work, candor, wit and gentlemanly manner. The Federation knew him well and will miss him greatly.
