AmeriCorp VISTA joins Federation’s health programs and outreach area |

The Senior Federation welcomes Khulia Pringle, Americorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) member. Khulia will serve full time for one year with the Senior Federation’s health programs education and outreach department in the Twin Cities.
Khulia has a AAS in human services, will be finishing her BS in Human Services, with a minor in Human Services Administration, May 2008, from Metropolitan State University. Khulia has worked in the Human Services field for three years in mental health and chemical dependency.
Khulia is originally from the island of Antigua in the Virgin Islands, and has lived in the United States for 20 years and has been raising her 11-year-old daughter, Azia (pronounced Asia), with the help of family. Khulia plans to pursue her Master’s in Social Work.
Khulia enjoys theater, dance and learning about different cultures through reading or the History Channel.
