The MnSF-Metro Region South Metro Chapter will honor veterans at its monthly meeting Friday, Nov. 9, at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 76th & Chicago Avenue, Richfield.

Guest speaker will be Ted Nemzek, Korean war veteran, who received the “11 Who Care Volunteer Award” in 2006 and lives on the belief, “When you volunteer, you always receive more than you give.”

The meeting begins with a social at 9:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public. Watch for details in the next Senior News.
