Gifts for Seniors collects donated gifts to distribute to the most isolated senior citizens who reside within the 12 Minnesota metropolitan counties. The gift program, now in its 14th year, collects gifts from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. Minnesota Senior Federation is a host site this year. There is a gift barrel in our St. Paul office. Bring in your unwrapped gift and take a moment to say hello to our staff.
It’s easy to donate. Contributions include unwrapped gifts, gift cards/certificates and checks made payable to Gifts for Seniors. It’s 100 percent tax deductible. This program gives many people the satisfaction of giving to the community. Volunteers are needed during December and January at the program’s internal operation center in the Roseville area.
