Members of the Minnesota Senior Federation in the Mankato area will host a Holiday Social and Legislative Preview Monday, Dec. 10, 10:30 a.m., at Summit Center in Mankato. State Sen. Kathy Sheran will provide a preview of the upcoming legislative session and other representatives and local public officials have been invited, including First District Congressional Rep. Tim Walz.

This holiday social has long provided an opportunity for members of the Senior Federation to interact with each other and lawmakers during this festive time of year. Members who wish to share a few of their holiday cookies or candy for this special occasion can call the Mankato office for more details at 507/345-7814. The Summit Center is at 518 S. 5th St. in Mankato. Overflow parking will be available in the Old Main Assisted Living parking lot just steps from the Summit Center.
