Get out your calendars and mark down Monday, Oct. 20 as the date for the 2008 Minnesota Senior Federation State Convention to be held at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center. The preliminary schedule for the convention includes breakout sessions, caucuses, exhibits, lunch with a guest speaker and business meeting.

Convention Chair Jerry Irsfeld has called together a committee that is planning a very exciting and eventful day. If you are interested in serving on this committee, contact the Federation office, 651/783-5018. 

Registration materials will be available in the next issue of Minnesota Senior News and will be mailed to all MnSF members in late July. Registration information will be included in the next issue of Senior News.

This will be the first convention since we have united under one organization. It is the time that members will come together to work on issues and priorities of the Federation. Plan on being a part of that process and, while you’re at it, invite a friend or neighbor to join you. It is a great way to introduce someone to the work and programs of the Federation!
