Related Organizations:: The U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) is our primary funder through enabling provisions of the Older Americans Act. The AoA also funds the Technical Assistance Project (TAP) of the Pension Rights Center (see below). TAP provides extensive training and resources to the six regional pension counseling projects. The Pension Rights Center is the country's only consumer organization dedicated solely to protecting and promoting the pension rights of American workers, retirees and their families. The Center identifies inequities in America's pension systems, proposes realistic reform measures, and helps employees and retirees understand and enforce their legal rights. The UMPRP is a joint regional project between the Minnesota Senior Federation in St. Paul, MN, the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Group’s Elder Law Center in Madison WI, and Iowa Legal Aid in Des Moines, IA . The Minnesota office also serves North and South Dakota. |
